About Wendy:
Wendy is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with a passion for providing compassionate care and support to her patients. Wendy’s diverse background includes homeschooling her two daughters through high school, serving as a 4H horse leader for 20 years, and owning her own business. Her journey into occupational therapy was deeply influenced by caring for her mother-in-law, a bilateral amputee, which sparked her interest in the field. Motivated to explore this new path, Wendy returned to school and, upon graduation, began working at a busy outpatient pediatric OT clinic in Washington. Her dedication and love for horses and children led her to an exciting opportunity to combine these passions by offering equine-assisted therapy to children with various diagnoses. Outside of her professional work, Wendy enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, as well as engaging in outdoor activities such as trail riding, showing horses, hiking, paddle boarding, and skiing.
