Occupational Therapy

Biography

Education:
East Carolina University – Greenville, North Carolina

  • Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a concentration in Community Health (2016)

Huntington University – Fort Wayne, Indiana

  • Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (2019)

About Taylor:

Taylor was born and raised in a small town in southern New Hampshire. She first learned about occupational therapy in her high school anatomy and physiology class with a guest lecturer who recently opened a private practice.

Taylor always had a passion for working with and helping others, as well as a strong interest in working in the medical field. Occupational therapy was the profession that best suited both of those interests.

Taylor completed clinical rotations in non-traditional home health and early intervention settings, working with clients ages 65 and older and ages zero to three respectively. These clinical rotations further affirmed her passion and desire to work with very young children and older adults.

Her doctoral research on differential diagnosis of hearing loss and dementia in clinical practice brought her to Montana where she fell in love with the Big Sky state. With a background in public health, it was a natural transition into her job at St. Luke’s where she can positively impact people of all ages, diagnoses, and walks of life.

In her free time, Taylor enjoys perusing used bookstores for hidden gems on Montana history, hiking, paddle boarding, and trying new recipes to share with family, friends, and coworkers.
