Kyota (Kyo) has been working as a full-time physical therapist at St. Luke since 2011. Kyota is a native of Toya, Hokkaido, Japan. Kyota believes that he can truly reflect who he is through this special profession, physical therapy, and is passionate about reaching out to many people with various physical conditions. His primary goal in physical therapy is to help people achieve their positive and meaningful change in their lives and to promote healthier and stronger community by providing quality care, with clinically and scientifically evident techniques and approaches.
Kyota holds two national certifications, Athletic Trainer, Certified (ATC) through National Athletic Trainer’s Association Board of Certification (NATABOC) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through National Strength and Condition Association (NSCA). Kyota provides athletic training service for Headoverheels LLC Gymnastics in Polson.
Kyota is also certified in Dry Needling by American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. His clinical interests include orthopedics, sports medicine, integrative manual therapy, and chronic pain.
Kyota enjoys various indoor and outdoor activities, photography, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family, Michelle, Amaya, and Aiden.
