Originally from Alaska, Katie moved to Montana in 2010 to pursue her undergraduate studies. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Geology, she transitioned into the medical field with the goal of making a tangible impact on others’ lives. For the past 7 years, Katie has worked as a registered nurse in rural Montana and Idaho, gaining a deep understanding of the barriers to healthcare access in these areas and the need for well-rounded, comprehensive care.

Katie is passionate about educating patients and setting achievable wellness goals to promote overall health and happiness. She completed the majority of her FNP clinical rotations in rural family practice, where she cared for patients across the lifespan, and also completed a specialty rotation in medical dermatology.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys hiking with her dog, fly fishing, and boating on Flathead Lake with friends and family.
