Education:

Andrews University Berrien Springs, Michigan
– Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Physiology
– Master of Science in Physical Therapy (1993)

Karen was born in Leavenworth, Kansas and her family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of ten. Karen has always had a strong desire to work in the medical field and it became clear to her at a young age that physical therapy was going to be her career of choice. She enjoys working with patients and helping them achieve their goals.

Karen began her physical therapy career in Orlando, Florida in 1993 working at Florida Hospital where she worked in various patient care areas including acute care, outpatient therapy, and wound care. While at Florida Hospital, she also had opportunities to work in administrative and leadership capacities. After leaving Florida in 2004, Karen and Kevin worked as traveling therapists in Washington, Arizona, Wyoming and Maine.

Karen and Kevin moved to the beautiful state of Montana in December of 2005 and have been working at St. Luke ever since that time.
Karen works predominantly with our acute care, swing bed, and extended care patients in need of physical therapy services. Karen has been recognized as an employee of the quarter at St. Luke and is highly respected among her colleagues and patients.

In her spare time, Karen enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling, being involved in her church, and spending time with family and friends.
