About Tanner:

Tanner was born and raised in Helena, MT. Prior to joining the team at St. Luke, he practiced medicine not far from Polson in Libby, MT. He graduated PA school from Rocky Mountain College in Billings and completed his undergraduate at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Tanner first gained an interest in the medical field through playing sports. He originally had an interest in physical therapy, but after his own experiences as a patient, came to realize that becoming a PA was his passion.

Tanner enjoys building relationships with patients-getting to know them and helping them live happy and healthy lifestyles. A large part of his desire to help others developed from his two-year service mission to the Four Corners area, where he had the opportunity to live and serve on the Navajo and Apache reservations. Growing up in a family of six, family has always been Tanner’s biggest source of joy. He is now enjoying a family of his own with his wife and two sons. The family loves being outside, no matter what that may be – walking, hiking, swimming, or biking. Being from Montana, Tanner grew up enjoying the outdoors – hiking, hunting, shed hunting, and playing sports – which he continues to enjoy to this day.
