Biography

Education:

University of Montana
-Bachelor of Science in Human Performance with emphasis in Athletic Training 2004
-Doctorate of Physical Therapy 2016

Alyssa (Aly) was born in St. Ignatius, MT and mostly raised in the Mission Valley. She graduated from St. Ignatius High School and went on to higher education at University of Montana. Aly always wanted to pursue a career in the medical field and was able to do so after her husband returned from deployment from Iraq and her children began school.

Aly graduated from the University of Montana with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016. She also has specialized training from Herman and Wallace Pelvic Institute to treat pelvic floor dysfunction in both men and women. Aly has special interest in treatment and research in treating chronic disease including diabetes in Native Americans.

Aly enjoys volunteer work to provide education and mentorship creating better health and wellness opportunities in the community. She serves as a trustee on the Headwaters Health Foundation board that focuses on philanthropic efforts to increase health and wellness in Western Montana.

Aly loves to travel, cook for others, exercise, read, attend live music performance and spend time with her friends and family. Her favorite holiday is 4 th of July.
